Utica Pediatrics has a long history of caring for the pediatric patients of Tulsa. In 2019, Dr. Sarah Hayden joined the practice and they rebranded to Utica Pediatrics in 2020.  Utica Pediatrics will continue to serve its patients and their families, providing unmatched care for each and every child that walks through our doors.

Dr. Hayden graduated from OSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her pediatric residency through OSU as well. She is a Tulsa-area native and loved having most of her pediatric training at the Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis. She married the Utica Pediatrics Building Manager in 2007, and they have two children together. Their children are her pride and joy.

Dr. Hayden loves caring for your children, and if you are around her for very long, you will likely hear her say some variation of:
“I see my role as being part of your team, supporting you and helping you raise these turkeys to be good, healthy humans.”

“Raising these children is both the best and hardest thing you will ever do. I’m here to help, not make it harder.”

“I have the greatest job in the world!”

“I get to spend my days taking care of and hanging out with your kids. That will never not be amazing.”, or “I share too much. I’m kind of awkward. I will hug your babies and tell them I love them. Because I do.”

She is also known for her Dr. Pepper addiction, and for going above and beyond for her patients, staff, and family.

Kaley joined Utica Pediatrics in 2022 as Dr. Hayden’s nurse. In July 2025, Kaley was promoted to Office/Billing Manager. She’s married and has four children. Outside of the office, Kaley and her family enjoy time with their two dogs (Moose & Coco), camping, and spending time outdoors. On her free time, Kaley coaches cheerleading and enjoys attending her children’s sports events. Kaley’s favorite color is pink, and she’s known for her addiction to Starbucks coffee.

With almost 6 years of pediatric experience, Tristyn joined Utica Pediatrics in June of 2025. She has a passion for taking care of the tiny humans, and truly strives to make the littlest best friends every day. As soon as you walk in, you’ll likely hear her screaming, “HEY FRIEND,” making weird noises in an attempt to distract your baby from crying, or trying to race your kid down the hallway. Outside of work, you can find her and her partner chasing their own two crazies or the zoo of dogs and cats they share. If she finds a minute of peace, she’s likely either binging reality tv or reading a good book (she loves a good rec for either!) with a Doc Peppy slush and sunflower seeds. Primary care has become her jam, and she’s so excited to be a part of your littles and not-so-littles care team!

Selena joined Utica Pediatrics in August 2025. She will be celebrating her 10th year in pediatrics this coming March. She’s had a wonderful journey working in pediatrics at hospitals, urgent care, and now primary care. She truly loves primary care because she has loved being able to watch the kids grow and build such special connections with her patients over the last few months. Selena is engaged and has two children. When she’s not working, she enjoys photography, DIY projects, and spending time with her family. She’s known around the office for her Dr. Pepper addiction and her love for making people laugh. A fun fact she’d love for everyone to know is that her voicemail is correct—her name is really Selena Gomez. Her favorite color is blue, but she’s currently in her “pink era.”

Jessica joined Utica Pediatrics in September 2025. She is married and has one child. With five years of experience in a medical office setting, she’s eager to contribute to Utica Pediatrics and support pediatric patients and their families. In her free time, Jessica cherishes spending quality time with her dog and son. She’s passionate about yoga, baking, and outdoor activities, soaking up the sun. Her favorite color is pink.

Ilse joined Utica Pediatrics in November 2025. During her free time, Ilse enjoys spending time with her children, family, and friends. On the weekend, Ilse is spending most of her time attending sports events and cheering on her son. Ilse’s favorite color is black, and as always, GO LONGHORNS!!
